Me the player, Myself The Coach and I the fan!

I think i started playing soccer before i started walking.. probably some questionable performances if that was the case!

I began as any other young Scotsman does, playing in any car park, field or street, learning my trade and developing my skills, back then its more of a full-time job than a hobby as you spend about 10 hours a day doing it! I signed pro-youth with Greenock Morton at 15 and played there for 2 years, aft leaving Morton i headed to Northern Ireland and signed my first full professional contract with Larne Football Club i played the season there with a regular start at hitting the back of the net a few times from Left Midfield. After several trials with professional clubs its back to semi-pro football and time to develop my passion for Coaching.

I attended College and University to coach Sports Coaching Qualifications, i have worked with several clubs in Scotland including professional Club St.Mirren.

In have spent over 2 years coaching soccer in USA and this is now where my attention lyes.

Watching football takes up a LOT of my time. I am a Huge Liverpool fan but will watch any 2 team battle out for 3 points!

Getting the season started

Being a Liverpool fan has seen better days! being one of the most decorated clubs in the world we have alot to live up to week to week season to season.

After finally getting rid of Rafael “shoot ourselfs in the foot Benitez” this season has started to look up, brining in Joe Cole on a free transfer made Roy Hodgeson pretty popular on mersyside! Howeve a few unconvincing performances to start the season including a 3 nil demolition by Money bags City see’s spirits drop, even in the most optimistic of Reds fans! Finally torres got off the mark yesterday with a well conrolled volley to give us 3 points against west brom and the firts League victory of the year. Raul meireles looks to be a promising signing after a few good performances in  the world cup. Today we are sure to fill that crater, knows as left back that was formed after the sasse of John arne Riise with the sogning of one of Roy’s ex players Paul Koncheskey. Promising times to come.. i predict a top 4 finnish, Victory in the europa league and possibly another domestic cup!
